wow, really long time since i last posted in here..
hmm, let's see. open house for this friday is cancelled.
but yeah, there's still racial harmony celebrations.
am session from 7.15 to 9.15 am..
so yeah, seniors, come at like.. 8++ for th concert.
hmm, dun really noe how choir is going ryt now..
coz, yeah.. not going for cca anymore.
but, yeah. gotta ask some1 to post on here from time to time..

dun really have much time nowadays, so can't really post.

hahaha,, okay, so today's th last day of holiday practices.
to those who came, thanks lots.
and to those who didn't, well, i ain't gt a thing to say to you ;x
hahaha,, okay then. had th last session of recording..
well,, prob'ly for the p6r`s tis year.
but yeah, ii kinda liked th school song's recording..
even though it was th original one.. BUT with a lil work at th end.
haha,, yeah, i liked tt one xD
hmmm,, remember, wen u come in2 choir, take ur name from th basket.
and put it on th whiteboard. it's magnetic, i think. haha,
didn't really get to see it for myself x.x
so yeah, and remember, th next pract is th 1st thurs of term 3 !

you only need to come AFTER PSLE.
aw mannn,, for me, that means 4 times a week of supplementary.

8.30am to 12.30 am you'll be having your choir at
Beethoven room .

For those who need to go for the recording on 9June ,
your recording will be from
1.30pm to 5.30pm

The choir will be performing at
Bangkit Road
Playground next to block 256 .
on 6June , 6.30pm to 8.30pm .

Pupils who's going to perform ,
Please Report to the school hall at 3pm for the Rehearsal
In your Choir Full dress uniform . (if im not mistaken)
Double check with the teachers just in case i've given you the wrong information .

sup people! :D yiling here btw! hahah, quite some time since i posted.

ANYWAYANYWAYANYWAYANYWAYANYWAY why so long liao still talking about quitting choir? T_T choir that bad meh. seriously man, choir dont suck. any cca doesnt suck, nor is any cca better than others. i mean hello, yeah, its a privilege we got aircon :D to sing in, and you know, people think all we do is just to open and close our mouths, nothing else. but you know its not so simple right. choir isnt that simple as people think it is! (i sometimes have problems explaining to my friends too, who are in band btw)

so yeah, choir's harder than everybody think okay! we need to pitch correctly, get a nice tone, get a super nice posture, and have 201% of expressions on our faces. and of course many more. so you see, choir's got so many difficulties, yet, you guys got into choir! you all went auditions! you passed! other people wanna join choir also cannot, why now when you have the chance to be in this wonderful, inspiring, cool, united, bonded, nice-toned choir, you wanna quit? tut tut, i bet you guys are just kidding lor. like: eh! so tiring! i wanna quit le la!

i tell you man, DONT EVER DONT EVER quit! i assure you, when you spend more times with zhenghua choir, you will realise that its a totally special choir okay! just bear with it, and i dont think anybody who gives up so easily should be in choir. but since you guys are already a part of zhenghua choir family, it just proves that we dont give up easily! :) i mean come on, standing for 3h and singing like mad isnt easy!

yesssssssssssssss, so we should jiayou man!! stop this quitting 'sensation' cause it sucks. okay, buck up man. look at choir from a different point of view, and you will see different things, and maybe, choir isnt so bad after all. okay! :D

sorry for not being able to post since th choir members came back from hk !
been pretty busy ><
TONS of homework to finish BY TOMORROW and it's sunday nite alr !!
altogether i hav 14 sets of hw..
still hav a lil below half to finish..
ouh well.. prob'ly should tell you bout th trip..
mr koh and th tchers sed we did really goood..
in disneyland, i mean..
yes, we had fun performing.. ryt?
for me, i didn't feel th teeniest bit nervous.. i was.. happy, excited.. actually..
uhmm..
the trip was super fun.. and i think everybody also thinks so, ryt?
we met new friends.. esp.
we learnt some new things at th hkcc workshop we went to..
and yah, we were all amazed by th hkcc.. am i ryt?? ..
well.. mayb not all seems to think tt all of wat i sed is true but hey, mostly thinks th same XD

pardon for any mistakes coz i am sort of hyper on my first time posting here LOL

anws, i think this few days, all you see here is like,
PRACTICES TIME,
and,
Some werid seniors warning/threatening you to go choir xD
ok, you can treat me as the second option xD
hahas,
but i am here to tell you something good ok?
Can you guys guess why those freaking seniors, leaders,
need to threaten, or warn or advice you to go for choir?
the reason is super simple,
firstly, you are our hope for the rest of the year,
you shd feel proud to be representing your choir, your friends who left, or graduated from choir
when you are in choir, i hope at least you have some bond with your seniors,
who maybe primary 6 this year,
and they are leaving!
so, as their junior, their un-accomplished dream to get gold with honours will be in your hands
well, maybe saying this will make you stressful lah,
but here comes the second reason,
you are part of choir,
if everyone treat it like a hotel, ( go when you feel like)
you are like not part of it,
so if you guys felt left out one fine day,
its coz you didn bother going and improving yourself
for those who are consistent, keep it up, :]
and if your singing is not as good, you shd just continue going coz,
if you give up now, you nvr know that maybe its just matter of time be4 you can sing fabulously.
if your friends are critising you for opening your mouth like some alien etc,
dont bother them!
they are just jealous you can sing better than them, :X
and they dont understand what you are doing( like opening mouth widely etc)
coz, they are NOT part of choir!
anws, come to think of this,
if you think life in choir is terrible,
i think you better try re-thinking.
every cca, has their own challenge,
every cca needs to train,
every cca needs commitment,
every cca has their own aim,
every cca will have someone critising it if their members are not active,
every cca will "drop" if no one bothers going for practice.
so think hard, why you chose choir,
maybe its for fun, or maybe you are force, or maybe its due to you have no other choices.
but since you are part of it,
why not try your best?
and soon, while you are trying,
you may find yourself enjoying it like mad,
thats when you Sing from your heart, ( TADA! , i managed to fit your motto in :DD)
with all your might :D
and if you tried your best,
i think your friends do not have the rights to critises you
correct?
and my best advice is that, you better start trying now,
if not by then when you realise you seriously love it, there will be no time left,
remember time flies ok? ^^

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Anyone remembers me?
Shall type out my name later. I heard that the juniors are not so enthu in choir, why?
I have a few possibility.

First : You are envy of your friends' CCA, therefore is not enthu in choir.
Second : You think that joining choir can get you to nowhere but joining other CCA will.
Third : Your friend discourage you to stay in choir and join their CCA.

For the 3 possibilities above, they can be proved WRONG.

First : You should be proud that you are in choir because you have a talented voice.
Second : Choir does not get you to nowhere, choir can give even more opportunity to lead.
Third : It should not be the one that your friend is dragging you to their CCA, but YOU dragging them to choir.

From these, if you are enthu i guarentee 100% plus chop that you guys will get a gold.
Why? I went to see you guys singing during some practices before.
You guys sang well, have the chance to get Gold if you want to.
From here, Silver is the minimum, Gold is can be done and Gold with Honour is the ultimate.

I truly hope that the juniors will be able to go to the internet to read this post or entry, so as to bring their moral up but not low.

memorising songs are easy ! uue just niid tuhh remember the tune . but the hardest part issh the lyrics right ? im sure of tat . hmm . if uue guys scared tuhh forgot any words ,, try tuhh repeat those lyrics a lot of time . or mayb uue could record it down dhen uue kip replaying bck and you'll be fine (: cause you've alrdy listened it tuh a LOT OF TIMES (:

if uue guys thinks tat the teachers are very strict ,, iie can definately tell uue tat YOU ARE WRONG ! they do this issh just because they wan us to be the BEST ! and iie feel tat Teacher Leona isnt strict at all compared to Mr Lim [[ our 2006 batch's conductor ]] . ok ,, some of uue may heard of this from levonne . but iie wan to repeat this . gah, hope you guys wont mind me blogging here. YILING here btw. 1st must thank Yashi for giving me the ID and the PW to this blog. =D quick thank her now man. wahahha! -.- okay, went to 'visit' you guys for a few times this year and didnt really talk to you all. i see new faces, THATS GOOD! :D weeeeeee! okay okay, i think generally im here to encourage you all only lor, also nth to say liao ma. oooh, whos the conductor now? still the teacher er.. leona? correct spelling anot ah?

okay actually nothign much to encourage la, you guys all very strong one right? come on, say YESSSSS! hahaha! hmm, so how are choir practises these few days? and also, what are the days with choir practises? like thursday and...? yup, just wanna tell you that although sometimes choir is tiring and stuff like that, or you nid hours and hours and hours of singing for a competition, stay strong and dont get dejected!!!!! remain enthusiastic about choir, and in that way, you will enjoy choir, and in that way, time will pass very fast in choir!!!! and if you enjoy choir, i suppose you will put your HEART when you are singing right, and i believe if you do so, your wrong pitches and mistakes will decrease like maybe, quite significantly. you know what, in my choir now, i always sing wrong tune and out one. HAHAHA, sometimes the feeling is quite guilty right? especially when you're singing rather loudly.

yup, and everybody! if people sing wrongly in choir, try to tell him personally but dont point it out right after you finish singing and point your finger at him/her that everybody can see it. cause i believe that person must have already felt bad enough for singing wrongly, and by pointing it out to him, i think he will be you know... kinda embarrassed and 'scared'. sort of 'scared' then dont dare to sing anymore liao. actually, such a thing happened to me b4, ahaah, but anyway, if you have to point it out to him/her coz that person doesnt know that he/she is singing out of tune or whatsoever, just tell him gently lor.. yeah? hahah, dont find me proud and command-ive. tahhh

i think can already la, i nid to slp liao. and yups, WORKHARD GOODLUCK AND JIAYOU BA!!!! especially for those p6s taking PSLE this year!!!! weeeeeee! and nevertheless, the people taking end of years. WORKHARD and you will be rewarded yeah??!?!?!?!? HA-HA-HA, and smile often! byebye!

hello! its the june holidays now. you must be enjoying yourself right? although i know some of you having the GREAT exam this year. haha, i am sort of enjoying myself though. LOL. of course la, holiday leh, after 2 terms of homework, homework and homework. but holiday also got homework. so stupid. -.- ohohoh, in case you all wondering who am i, you guess la. who? guess lor. from alto or sop? haiz, PSLE so stressful, keep studystudystudystudy one. oops, i just leak out a hint!
